The Full Story

(Continued from the Homepage)

The passion was there, just like my passion for MUSIC.

In the mid 90’s I became part of an event crew who used to travel all over the country for various sporting events. I used to go to print shops that the company I worked for had subcontracted work to, to assist in making sure they were printing to our quality standards. I loved it, and I got to meet a lot of cool printers, and learn so many different ways of doing things.

From there I moved on to a company that had one machine, and just purchased a 2nd… I helped grow that company to where we were printing, and printing, and printing... it was great… things were firing on all cylinders... then we get to 2004… 10 of us from the company kicked in time and resources, and we decided to open a temporary store in our local mall, to sell some goods we had embellished overseas, and of course it didn’t hurt that the Red Sox won the World Series that year…

We printed nonstop for 2 days straight… printing, shuttling tees to the Mall Store, non-stop, good times… the train kept rolling, and bigger and better opportunities kept happening... with new techniques that were becoming a fad, we were printing High Density on anything we could… I think some of the guys were even putting it in their sandwiches for lunch  (kidding)... then came flock… all those little polyfibers that when printed using adhesives, and applying some electro charge to the screen pallets, the fibers stood straight up... looked like crushed velvet or velour... we just kept trying new things to keep our minds fresh, and you never know what ideas you’ll incorporate into the day to day to offer a little more punch to someone’s order…

Times changed, and as all the techniques started to fizzle out, I moved on to working with who I would say was the best crew I personally have ever worked with… a shop full of women... as much as I taught them, they taught me…

But what it really comes down to is, that I love printing tees… so it was time for me to go on my own and provide you with the same care and service that I have provided for so many customers over all these years, whether it was small businesses, major corporations, or someone’s back yard party…
